If it ain't broken, don't fix it
I stayed at home today for my new kettle for hot water and heating. My house
owner is replacing them in the building although mine was still pretty new. The
installation guys looked amazed when they saw mine, did it really need to be
replaced?
3 hours later they were kind of finished, my hands were frozen because they left
the door open most of the time and my floor was dirty. They forgot to bring a
new thermostat so they had to come back which they did very fast. Installing it
was obviously a bit too difficult. After another hour they said they couldn't
find the problem and another guy was coming to fix it. 4 hours later, still no
repair man and they couldn't give an indication when he'd come. I've got hot
water but no heating so my fingers are still cold. The worse thing is I can't
leave the house to meet friends this evening and I can't get out for food. I
wish they hadn't replaced my almost new kettle.
