Note that particularly Cocoon developers will
see sitemap.xmap mapping in the URL mapping, but almost the only
resemblance is that is uses * and **, but this is common to many
frameworks doing any wildcard matching.
So, bascially, if you have done any wildcard matching ever
with any framework, but even if you haven't in my opinion, you'll
get the idea of it within seconds.
Just
realize that matching is
1) not top-down
(not first matching), but best match first
2) The
greedy wildcard ** and **.html is only allowed at the end of a
sitemap path, and is not allowed to have child matchers
