An Apple patch a day

I wonder who does the Mac OS X patch planning. Since last week the Apple Software-update gave me patches on 4 different days. Can’t they collect their patches and release them on one day? It’s not like Apple is in a hurry (DNS bug fix).

Releasing a lot of patches at once gives me the idea they did something to improve the system. Bringing out a patch every two days makes me doubt if they know what they are doing. Not to mention the irritation of having to reboot my Mac for every time they brought out a patch (except for the Java update). Take Microsoft for example, that brings out patches on a regular, monthly basis unless they are really important.
